Monet Sunset Lampwork Focal Bead

Description

This beautiful focal bead was made with hues of purple and yellow glass mixed with a little bit of frit on each end to give it that cool bubbly look. This gorgeous handmade bead reminds me of summer sunsets in the fields as the fading light casts one last glorious light show before dipping below the horizon. The focal bead measures 3 inch in length, 2/12 inches in width and the hole is 3mm in size.

I make my lampwork beads using Effetre, Lauscha, Vetrofond, CIM, ASK and Double Helix glass rods and frits. All of my beads are digitally kiln annealed for strength. This pendant was made using a 3/32" mandrel and photographed inside. As always, different monitors display colors differently. I have been making lampwork beads for about 9 years in my studio in the Ozarks.

I am also a member of Self-Representing Artists. This means that my lampwork beads are handmade, one at a time by me. My SRA number is #L62.

SOLD!

Very interesting looking, I have to say. It somehow reminds me of oilpaint... Not sure why. Maybe the 'flow' of the colors.
